Dalguise Trip a Great Success

Posted: 14 May, 2007 in News

P6/7 pupils have now returned safely home from their residential weekend at PGL Dalguise, Dunkeld.

Pupils participated in a wide range of activities, including the Giant Swing, abseiling, raft build, motorsports, Jacobs Ladder, Zip Wire and Challenge Course.

The weather was much better than had been forecast, with only a little rain on Saturday.

We were delighted with the behaviour, attitude and enthusiastic approach of all pupils. PGL staff commented favourably on all of these.

Many thanks to Mrs Brown and Mrs Meston who gave up a weekend with their families to attend.

Photographs of the weekend will appear on the school website in the near future.

I really enjoyed Dalguise. It was a real life experience. The best part had to be when we did the challenge course. The mud pit was GREAT. I would like to thank all the teachers, Mrs Brown, Mrs meston and Mr bell.
    Thank you so much.

Just looking at your website and blog and seeing the Dalguise trip on your blog made me want to say thank you very much for that experience and thanks to the teachers that gave their weekend to come with us. My favourite activity was the quads and the mud pit , well lets just say I think I’ve still got bits of mud in my ears. Thank you very much and hope to see you all soon.
